February 17: Crafting Fun

At 10 this morning it was already 50 degrees outside.  At 11 it was 59 degrees.  Wonder what 1pm will bring temperature-wise?  The snow is almost all gone.  Only tiny patches left here and there most in shadows.  And tomorrow is forecast to be warmer but very windy.

Today's 'craft' is really drawing or doodling.  Supplies you need are pens, pencils, markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc and something to draw on.   Basically whatever you want to draw with and on.  The suggested drawing is/can be designated as modern art.  How can it be used?  Well, just as a way to relax and draw...but you can apply the same technique to making greeting cards or postcards.

First, using a dark pencil or marker, doodle a line something like this one...

Next, fill in all the completed circles or ovals with bright colors similar to this example...

Finally, add some background shapes without the outlines similar to this example...

Just shapes and colors!  The basic idea is to have fun and relax and doodle whatever pleases you.
