Okay, I just got back from running some errands...it is 78 degrees out....78! And we had five inches of snow last weekend. This weather is really weird!
And the Ukraine situation is so bad. Russia is bombing the rubble along with hospitals, schools, homes and food lines...basically civilians. What I don't get is that folks in Russia are related to folks in Ukraine.
I saw the video that Arnold Schwarzenegger made aimed at the Russians. It was quite moving. I hope that it gets through to the citizens of Russia. And it looks to me like the curtain is dropping in Russia and it's going to be the citizens of Russia who will be suffering as are the citizens of Ukraine. What a mess thanks to one dictator!
So today is the last day of focusing on nature. We have already talked about the many benefits of a walk in the woods. There is one more aspect that is wonderful about that walk and that is the wonder and awe of nature.
From the spectacular scenery to the smallest of flowers, there is no lack of awe and wonder. The birds that contribute to the music of nature, the small animals that flit around and even the majesty of the larger animals...they all bring awe and wonder at the beauty.
And doesn't that wonder make you feel more alive...more excited about life...and just plain happy? I hope all of you will make the effort to take a walk in the woods as often as you can. This weekend may be a great time to start.
Talk with you on Monday...
