It's not really warm...mid 30's. Thursday is when our warm temperatures return...high 60's. Of course, there is also rain forecast! 'Rain, rain, go away; Come again another day! Or better yet, visit the west!
Is there a bit of good news concerning Ukraine...well, I won't hold my breath but if it comes, I will celebrate. And the EU has promised that they will defend Sweden if Russia invades. Hope Putin is paying attention.
So what does inspire you? One way to find out is listen to yourself. How many of us go through our day without paying attention to what's going on or even what you are doing...just getting our daily list done oblivious to anything else? I know I do that more than I would like to admit.
For example, yesterday as I was making the bed and straightening up the bedroom not paying attention to anything, I was caught off guard when I heard a bird outside the window. Something I hadn't heard all winter long. So after looking out the window to see the bird, I was inspired to really look at the hints of spring like the buds on the bush right outside the window ready to burst open.
And that got me thinking about spring cleaning and how that wasn't going to happen because I was preparing for moving. And that inspired me to get back to packing...and as a result I packed two boxes.
Kind of a convoluted way of looking at things but that's the way it goes...one inspiration leads to another and another and pretty soon, you have accomplished something...maybe not creative, but necessary just the same.
So the first thing to do is pay attention to yourself. Another way to find out what inspires you is to do something out of the ordinary for you. If you're not an outdoorsy type of person, go for a walk outside, maybe a hike in the woods.
If you're not the type to watch documentaries, watch one that appeals to you. If you've never watched videos on new crafts or hobbies, watched one. If you've never made ethnic food, find a recipe and make something.
Get the idea. First, listen to yourself. Second, try something new.
Talk with you tomorrow...
