Taking care of the pods, you ask? Yes. Unfortunately the house did not pass inspection. It sure took a lot of time to find this out. I think we have been trying to purchase the house for a couple months. Anyway, the septic did not pass so we will be staying here in Cornwall for another year or so! Thus, we will be emptying the pods on Wednesday!
It's October...the slow (or fast) slide toward the fall holidays!. First of all, have you checked in with your goals set last January? How are you doing? I have to say that I am not doing well. This house hunting situation put me way off schedule. Next week I plan on getting back to a regular routine.
There's new words for the month, a new question for the week and a thought for the day so check them out. And as Monday's focus is journaling, we will be finishing up the last of our four page fold up.
Supplies needed this time are decorative paper (I used magazine pictures!), card stock, ink pad and applier, scissors, glue, punch and ephemera. First up is the plain page on the left. The page on the right was the first one we made...
Next up, I covered the page with magazine pictures torn and inked on the edges...
I decided to add a side pocket using card stock and covering with magazine pictures. Then I applied a line of tacky glue on the top, bottom and left edges...
For this pocket, I chose to make a simple tag again using card stock and covering with magazine pictures and digital printouts, inking the edges and punching out the corners. Here are the front and back of the tag...
