November 16, 2023 Paper Foldouts

Bright, sunny and warm...in the 60's.  No clouds in the sky.  Looks like a great day.

Thanksgiving is one week from today...do you know where you plans are?  (Reminds me of the commercial several years ago, 'It's ten o'clock, do you know where your children are?'.)

I think our plans are in good shape...but there's a week for things to get screwed up!

I took pictures of several quilts yesterday.  The routine I have to go through is really wild.  I take the picture with my camera, then take the memory card out of the camera and stick it into the card reader on my old computer, then using a thumb drive, transfer the pictures from my old computer to my new computer to edit.  Why the round about way?  Because my new computer has no reader!

I did take time to work on some paper projects...a fold out.  I am not done yet but here it is so far...The pictures below show it folded, partially unfolded, completely unfolded back and completely unfolded front...

You can see the four inside pockets.  I sewed around the openings of each pocket before completely sewing all around the foldout.  This is just the beginning of this project but I have to say that it was fun to 'cut and paste'.

I also printed and backed some tags to add to presents, made more small crocheted snowflakes and a couple pompoms...

Today I plan on taking photographs of more quilts and then get one holiday package ready to send.

Hope you have a productive day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
