And, yes, plans need to be made because some of them are vegan which does impact our menu. Hopefully, we will hear from them in the next day.
One of the things that I finished this weekend was to make another present - microwave bowls. I had cut out the fabric and the batting. The batting was made especially for microwaving called 'Wrap and Zap'.
Actually sewing them did not take more than an hour each. I did add some stitching around the top.

They are graduated in size slightly. You can see that I added four rows of stitching around the top. I did not stitch around the bottom area so that it would expand to fit many sizes.
I found the pattern and directions on the internet. What I liked about this particular pattern was the rounded corners. Most of the microwave bowls have pointed corners.
Well today is busy with cleaning and getting the kitchen arranged for the big day of roasting and cooking.
