This is not normal weather folks...we should all be paying attention to that and consider what we can do to at least bring global warming to a standstill. It's probably too late to go back!
Today I decided to take a day to read, rest and finish the top of the charity quilt.
It's all together...
It's larger than a single bed quilt but not quite large enough to be fit a full size. I like the way the strips in the middle worked out. Now I have to find fabric for the back. I know I don't have any pieces large enough so I will have to piece the back. Once I have the back, I will begin to tie it. Trying to quilt it with my sewing machine will take too much time as will hand quilting...so tying it is the best way to go.
The chicken pie turned out great! We will be having it again for supper as well as spinach fritters. And I may slice up and fry the baked potatoes left from Tuesday's meal.
I have been watching 'Scrapbooking with Me' again and plan on returning to my junk journals if not tomorrow, then this weekend for certain.
