Another sunny day with the highs in the 60's.  Rain is forecast to begin late afternoon so I plan on working outside again at least for a couple hours.

Yesterday I managed to finish two of the containers.  They just need a couple more bags of dirt which I need to purchase.

I also transplanted the rest of the flower and plant starts that I purchased several days ago.  I even managed to weed some of the areas around the patio.

Today I have several zoom events but I hope to get the other two containers ready for dirt.  What does that mean?  Well, first I have lots of branches and twigs in the bottom.  Next I have put in two or three wheelbarrows full of compost from areas in the woods.  Then I add a single very large block of coconut core and finally the purchased dirt.  I plan on finishing everything up to the purchased dirt.  If I have time today, I will run to the nursery to pick up the dirt, if not, that will be on tomorrow's to-do list.

It looks like Friday and Saturday are going to be rain days, so that means that I will be working on studio projects.

One thing this weather has done is reinforced the John Lemon quote 'Life is what happens when you're making other plans!'  I make plans to do one thing and then it rains and I have to change them.

Does that happen to you?  You make plans to do one thing and something happens and you can't do that one thing!  Are you flexible enough to accept and accommodate possible last minute changes?

Being inflexible and rigid can lead to more stress which in turn can lead to angry reactions, high blood pressure and even getting less accomplished.

If 'life' happens and interrupts your plans, take some deep breaths, count to ten or do the 333 rule (name three things you see, identify three things you hear and move three parts of your body).

Have an amazing day and spend some time out in nature...

Talk with you tomorrow...
