I did get the yard finished yesterday...it took about 3 hours but with the exception of planting the carrots and beans when they have sprouted it's done. And I was lucky to have just enough fencing to go around the circular bed. The bed has a large variety of flowers popping up but I was able to plant marigolds in the empty areas.
I also worked in Duchess for three hours going though lots of 'stuff' and also dragging out the two mattresses to dispose of...I had to rearrange things in the dumpster in order to make room. But no matter how much I tried, I could not lift them up to push them in. That had to wait until later.
So, today is a rest day...six hours of hard work yesterday was probably way too long...at least my body is telling me so. But at least I finished a lot of work.
Today I need to drop things off at Goodwill and maybe clean out SnowWhite. I always clean her before I go on vacation...it's a bit early, but that will be one chore done. Other that those two things, I will be spending the day quietly in my studio working on a project.
So, do you listen to your body when it tells you it's time to rest? I have always had a hard time doing that...when I start a project like cleaning, etc., I never want to quit until it's done. Well, now that I'm older, I am beginning to understand that it might be a good thing to listen to my body. I maybe should have started to listen at an earlier age.
So, if your body is telling you it's time to rest, I hope you will listen and rest. In the end, it will be better healthwise for you. And who couldn't use some rest-time?
Have an amazing, restful day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
