Did You Daydream?

A Winter Beach
The picture above was taken at one of my favorite Maine beaches.   There are not too many sandy beaches in Maine as most of the seashore is rocky but this is one that I enjoy.

So, did you take time for yourself and do a little daydreaming?   Or, were you too busy finishing your 'to do' lists?   Yes, I really do know that it is important to finish needed chores...meals need to be made, laundry needs to be done and most of us have employment outside the home.   But if you do not take time to replenish yourself, to make 'you' important, who will?

So, take some time today or tomorrow.   Better yet, today and tomorrow.   Sit down and daydream.   Dream about what you would like to do with the rest of your life.    For many of us, we are so out of touch with daydreaming, especially our own, that this does not come easily.   Some of us may even feel that we are being foolish spending time accomplishing nothing.   But that's wrong.   What we are doing is getting intouch with who we are, what we need and where we want to go.

Remember when you were small and folks asked you what you wanted to do when you grow up?   Well, now it's time to ask yourself that question...and dream about the possibilities...

I leave you with the third in my series of Ornament Doodles...

Thanks for spending some time here...

More tomorrow...

And for goodness sake, spend some time daydreaming...
