Tuesdays are days that I will be visiting lots of different places and taking you with me. I'm taking the cue from 'The Artist's Way' by Julie Cameron. One of the steps in the book was to make a weekly date with yourself to visit different venues, especially artistic. I will be visiting a variety of places. For instance, today I will take you to an Antique Mall.
This one is called Vine Street Antique Mall, located at 4854 South State Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. There is parking on the street in front as well as a large parking lot behind (picture). The mall has 7000 square feet with 62 booths. The first thing that really caught my eye was the lack of dust! The booths were full and displays were artistic. The prices were very reasonable. I purchased a 1946 magazine for one dollar!Enjoy the pictures...

I took many, many more pictures, but these will give you an idea of the vast variety of items at this antique mall. If you are in the area, check it out. I certainly enjoyed my time there if for no other reason than browsing...
I thought I would share a picture of my journal page so far. I used a green watercolor wash for the background, Prismacolor black marker for outlines and Prismacolor pencils for the colors. I plan on adding the words 'Plant Seeds' in several places and add things hoped for in the 'seeds'...
ZENTANGLE CHALLENGE: Day One
I am using 'One Zentangle A Day: A 6-Week Course in Creative Drawing for Relaxation, Inspiration and Fun'. by Beckah Krahula. I have found the book has lots of information about supplies needed, how to approach drawing and lots of examples. I already love doodling, so I am looking forward to learning new designs.
