Today's craft is completely different from the crocheted or
fabric ornaments but it is very simple.
Supplies needed are: Bowl, stirring utensil, cinnamon, cloves,
nutmeg, applesauce, white glue, rolling pin, plastic wrap,
cookie cutters, wire rack, spatula
In a bowl, place, 1 cup of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of
cloves, 1 tablespoon of nutmeg, 3/4 cup of
applesauce and 2 tablespoons of white glue.
This is what it looks like...
Stir ingredients until they come together...
Knead with your hands for about 3 or 4 minutes...
Roll out between plastic wrap to 1/4 inch thick...
Using cookie cutters, cut out shapes.
Use a plastic straw to make a hole before
removing the cut out form with a spatula
and place on a wire rack to air dry for
several days...
This makes about two dozen cookies that
smell wonderful.
