I remember when the radio or tv announcer would say 'It's ten o'clock. Do you know where your children are?'
There was a slight layer of frost covering everything this morning. Not enough to scrape as the wipers were able to remove the frost.
I got the shopping done. Had to go to two different grocery stores and I wound up with five large packed grocery bags overflowing. When I got home I put everything away and and finished wrapping my presents.
A couple days ago, I went to a drug store to pick up a card and some cellophane tape. I bought the last package of tape even though the cost was enormous.
So today I decided to stop in to Walmart to pick up tape...they had none except packing tape. Wow! Guess that's why it cost so much at the drug store.
Tomorrow we are looking at rain and warmer weather. I plan on baking my fruitcake cupcakes and one batch of cookies.
Friday I plan to make rice pudding, cranberry steamed pudding, lime jello/nut/cottage cheese salad and in the evening begin split pea soup in a crockpot for dinner on Saturday.
