Today the sun is shining, no rain, but very loud and strong winds. It reminds me of a fall day.
The high of low 40's began this morning but it's getting colder as the day progresses. Right now it's 35 degrees.
Chip is still having hair pulling problems. Part of the reason may be because I am checking boxes and that always bothered him. I have an appointment with the vet tomorrow at noon to see if there's anything short of a collar that I can do to stop the behavior. Other than pulling hair, he's doing fine...running around, jumping, eating, etc.
As as for boxes, I have almost finished going through the boxes in my old bedroom. I am also bringing up some furniture and more things for the kitchen. If we are going to be here for another year, I don't want to live totally out of boxes. I still haven't found the spring things. Those decorations have to be in the last of the boxes I haven't gone through.
The third experiment I enjoyed doing with paper was to change the finish. The supplies you need are cardstock paper (I didn't have much success with the lighter weight copy paper.), glue, water (I use tacky glue with water about 2/3 glue and 1/3 water.) container to mix the glue and water, brush to apply the mixture, white tissue paper, plastic to protect the surface, any small things to add to the paper: Dried tea leaves, dried flower petals, string, tiny pieces of fabric, herbs, small pieces of paper, etc.
First apply the glue/water mixture to the paper completely coating it.
When you have completed adding things to the paper, cover it with a single sheet of white tissue paper and again cover the paper completely with the glue/water mixture.
If you have bubbles, like those below, continue to brush until they are gone because any area with an air bubble will not completely seal.
When done, let dry completely. Here's one of my papers.
It's easy and fun and your paper looks completely different.
That's all for today...
Have a great weekend...
Talk with you on Monday...
