I had a wire shelf in my first studio here in Cornwall which I took down and packed when it looked like we were moving.
I decided that as we were staying longer than anticipated, I wanted to use the shelf again. My fabric was in a breakfront in a dark corner of my new studio. And that made it extremely hard to see the actual color of the fabric. So yesterday I looked through the boxes and finally found the right one with the wire squares and connecting pieces.
So what lesson did I learn...actually there were two. The most important was that I needed to pay attention to how I put things together. The first time, I had the connecting pieces the wrong way on the bottom so I had to redo the shelf. The second lesson, the most frustrating one, was that it takes about twice as long these days to do what I used to do quickly. Yep, it took most of the afternoon! Very frustrating to say the least!!!
But the fabric is moved into the wire shelving and I can really see the color much better. And I have more room for storage in my studio.

After realizing that covid really took a lot more out of me than I realized, I decided to add something to my exercise routine next week. I already walk, but now I need to kick that up and add longer sessions and some jogging. The second thing I am adding is using an exercise bike. My son had one he is not using, so he will be bringing that over next weekend for me.
It's bright and sunny today with temperatures in the low 50's. Actually, it going to be warm the next ten days with several days in the 60's! Is winter done this year? It's only the first part of February so probably not but with the weather so screwed up maybe winter is done.
