March 15, 2023

Snow!  Snow!  And more Snow!

Followed by wind!  There was a lot of electrical outages but we managed to escape that experience.

It was almost a whiteout several times during the day.  And there was very little traffic outside the snowplows.

This morning the sun is shining and the snow has already begun to melt.  I expect it will be mostly gone by tomorrow especially with the highs in the 50's.

I treated yesterday as a free day.  A day that I could do what I wanted rather than a normal work day.  And what I wanted to do was enjoy finishing scrap quilt tops.  I finished the top of one rather large quilt and have put together the blocks and strips for a second smaller scrap quilt.  Both are pictured below, the larger one first.

I think that this will make a large dent in my fabric scraps...enough so that I do not have enough to make another quilt top - large or small!

I also spent some time organizing the epherma I use when making journals.  After trying different organizing plans, I choose to use ziplock bags with a white card stock piece of paper.

These are easy to store as well as take with me if I wanted to work in a different place.

Looking at everything I accomplished yesterday, maybe I should have more 'free' days rather than work days.  I seemed to have finished a lot of projects.

Have a great day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
