There's a new word for the month, a new question for the week and a new meditation for the day. Check them out on the sidebar. By the way, if you are viewing the blog on the mobile version, you may not see the sidebar. Be sure to use the web version even on your phone to see the entire post.
So do you have plans for this week? I do...probably much more than I can accomplish. I always do that to myself...make big plans and then feel frustrated because I didn't get them all done. How about you...do you make gigantic plans and then fall short.
I thought at my age I would know better, but I don't. And added to that is the continued effects from covid (which I had last October!) which slow me down even more.
So let's think about the accomplishments for this week in reasonable terms. That doesn't mean that you should do the least possible, just what's possible. Does that make sense?
For instance, today I am going to work one hour with the boxes in my old bedroom, looking at their contents and diagraming where they are located and I will sort one box of guild fabric looking for large pieces. Then I will unpack one box of books from my old studio. (We have boxes stored all over the place!)
Those along with my regular things like straightening up the house, cleaning the kitchen, taking care of the pets and doing my exercises will round out my day leaving time for blogging, crafting, chatting, etc.
Give making reasonable plans a try and see if it works for you. Who knows, you may get more done and feel less frustrated.
Talk with you tomorrow...
