Another warm, sunny day but there are clouds.
There are 24 National Holidays today...everything from National Walnut Day to National Bike to School Day to National Cherry Cobbler Day!
I have been having fun with the fabric beads that I shared with you earlier...
And the braided fabric scraps...
I wrapped the fabric beads with lots of different shiny embroidery/crochet thread securing the ends with tacky glue.
I also wrapped the fabric braids similarly and then put them together into an ornament which I am still working on...
I want to hang things off the wire when I've finished weaving it around the ornament. I am learning the process with this example so that I will be able to tweak it to fix any problems that I encounter...and believe me, there are several. It is interesting and fun.
Are you crafting anything? Do you have a beautifully finished product the first time you attempt something? Or, are you like me, the first time I attempt something it is a learning process and the finished product may not be the best? Either way, I hope you enjoy the crafting process as much as I do...
