Today, I am going to deliver all the guild fabric to another guild member. I sorted through all the boxes
Anything smaller than one yard, I sorted into fat eighths, fat quarters and fat halves. Fabric measurements for quilters.
Anything one yard and larger, I measured and took a picture. This way the fabric can be sorted and sold easily.
I have eleven boxes of fabric, labeled and ready to go plus four large bags (think contractor's bags) of stuffing.
I hope it all fits into the cab of SnowWhite. And that reminds me, SnowWhite got it's first major cleaning of the season...and boy was she dirty. She now shines both inside and outside. And I have to stop parking under the pine tree which drops sap on her all the time.
So, our question for the week evolves around exercise. I received from one of my children an Apple Watch for the simple reason that we can monitor each other's exercise (so far two of the children plus myself monitor each others exercises). I have to say that it does work for me. Even when I am tired and don't want to exercise I don't want to disappoint either myself or anyone else.
I do take weekends off and only bike, if I want. Other than that, I exercise every day.
I am now up to 3 miles daily on the exercise bike (remember I began with five minutes!), a 25 minute strength and balance routine using both five and ten pound weights every other day, one mile exercise walk on the non strength and balance days and I walk outdoors everyday.
I try to keep my steps no less than 3500 daily. And I stand up every hour when awake for several minutes.
I have to say that I am in better shape now, than I was even before Covid did such a number on me. And I really think the watch contributed partly to that the benefit.
But if you have a buddy to exercise with it would be even better than a watch...even texting each other daily about exercises finished works well.
No matter what, though, exercise is important for your well being so get up and move...
Talk with you tomorrow...
