I moved all the plants outside and they are doing well. The only drawback to being outside is that it looks like snow. The tree outside our back door is losing its white flowers and they are all over everything including in the house.
We also cut the cable and turned in everything except internet. However, after finding out that the internet cost tripled in cost when we canceled cable, we will be leaving that service also and going to another service which is cheaper and more reliable and we get more internet service!
June is just a couple days away...reminds me of the song 'June is busting out all over'. But the weather is still weird. Our day time temperatures this week range from a high of 60 to a high of 90 degrees. Way too wide a range to be comfortable.
It looks like we averted the debt ceiling shut down although there are several congressmen who are talking about holding things up...you can guess which party! So I am feeling somewhat better about it but will breath a sigh of relief when President Biden finally signs the bill.
The split this nation is experiencing seems to be widening especially as the minority does everything to continue being in charge from limiting access to voting to scaring folks from even registering to vote.
And the minority in our nation apparently wants no access to medical care for women and trans, limiting what can be taught in school, banning books and extreme access to guns even as more and more folks, including children, are killed! This is not what the majority of our nation wants. Something has to give soon.
