Today and for the entire week the weather is in the 70's here. And the following week looks to be almost as cool with a couple days in the low 80's. As a matter of fact, the air conditioner and fans are off which lowers the noise drastically.
I can see that a lot of rain happened while I was gone which meant that sandbags were placed around part of the front of the house including the door. The ground is wet...the grass is wet...the tree trunks are wet.
That means that when I want to get to the garage or take the garbage out, I need to walk around the house instead of going out the door in my old bedroom.
I want to clean up the patio this week but will need to let things dry out first.
The basement is in better shape than I thought it would be. As a matter of fact, the mildew smell is absent there. It does linger, though, in the hallway so I will try to use some cleaner there that will take the smell away.
Can you believe that August 1 is tomorrow. That means two-thirds of the summer is already gone and many kids will be going back to school this month. Did you decide on what you wanted to accomplish during the twelve weeks of summer? How are you doing with that goal?
