Have any plans for the weekend? I have been looking for events in upper New York and have found three interesting ones: A Garlic Festival at the Zoo in Binghamton, NY; A Blueberry Festival in Ellenville, NY and a Summer Farmers Market in Milton, NY. I'll let you know on Monday which, if any, we go to!
I did finish two more pages in the junk journal I showed yesterday...
I also sewed the signature together. First, after putting the pages together and making sure the center was secured with clips, using an awl I made three holes in the center line of the pages.
With a large embroidery needle threaded with decorative string, I pushed the needle through the center hole from the inside, then pushed the needle down the bottom hole from the outside to the inside, then out the top hole from the inside and finally back down the middle hole from the outside. It sounds confusing but it's really easy. Once I was finished, I pulled the string tight, tied a knot and left the string dangling so I can add paper beads later.
