And it's dark and cloudy out right now and forecast to stay that way all of today and most of tomorrow. And rain is forecast this week. Maybe we should all grow webbed feet!!!
Before the rain came, I sat outside last Friday and watched a group of deer run around in the yard...
As I sat in on the patio for those few sunny hours, a humming bird visited the flowers in the picture at the top. That's the first time I have seen a humming bird this year!
I did get Duchess leveled...well, more level...on Friday. I do not have an electric coupler on Duchess...what the truck hitch attaches to...so I had to raise the trailer by hand. Believe it or not, I had no problem lifting Duchess.
It took a bit of time to line up SnowWhite's hitch with Duchess' coupler but I finally got the trailer hooked up to the truck. Unfortunately, the yard was still wet so I did make a couple ruts when moving Duchess.
I miscalculated the number of blocks I needed to lift one side of Duchess to make her totally level but with what I had, she is almost level...enough so the cabinet doors do not swing open and I don't feel like I am swimming upstream when inside.
It's been cold in the house but I have resisted turning on the furnace...just put on a couple more layers of clothes...the orange vest is back, folks!
I worked on some holiday gifts this weekend getting several half-way completed. And I also worked on my journal. As a matter of fact, I saw (again on Scrapbooking With Me YouTube Channel) a very interesting use of envelopes which I will share tomorrow.
I was thinking of different ways of using this envelope folder and I thought about New Year's and ways to think about the previous year as well as hopes, dreams and goals for the new year. Still playing about with that idea. Stay tuned tomorrow for more information and how to...
