Right now, there are several trucks and other equipment in front of the house making very loud noises. I understand that they are cleaning out the sewer drains. Wish they had done that before all the rain that seeped into the first floor and garage. Better late than never!
It's sunny but cool. The lows are in the low 40's and the highs are in the high 50's-low 60's. Seems more like fall.
Unfortunately, the fall color here is much like Vermont. Trees gain color at different times and the leaves fall off almost immediately. And, as normal, there are many more days forecast with rain than not in the next ten days. Does it ever stop!
Here's my latest crocheted cow. I 'embroidered' the spots on the cow using cross stitches. It's much better than crocheting and layering the spots onto the cow...at least I think so. The pattern is very much different than the original one. I have a small cowbell coming to finish the cow...
I hung the large fall wreath on the front door, finally. And I am taking down the patio things today, putting them in SnowWhite and driving them down to the garage...if the folks working on the sewer finish. They are taking over not only the street but the driveway in front of the house.
