I am beginning Louise Penny's last book in the Inspector Gamache series. I will miss the stories about the tiny village of Three Pines and all it's quirky residents like Ruth and her duck. I definitely recommend this series to folks who enjoy indepth mysteries and getting to know all the reoccurring characters.
I took Chip to the vet yesterday. One thing that Chip really dislikes is having his claws trimmed. One of the claws was impacting his foot so rather than fight Chip, I took him to the vet and Chip gave the vet no problem at all! Little rascal. He is getting older but still enjoying life...
I am still working on the Count Down to Christmas Calendar. I haven't decided how to present the envelopes. I am thinking that I will use a large piece of cardboard, folded in half, which I will cover with decorative paper and then attach the envelopes to it. Something like this...
I am already thinking that I could make this for next year to give to some of my family/friends.
