After several hours and several tests for a multitude of problems, they found out what it was, administered the remedy and waited until things got better which took more hours.
So that wiped out Friday until very late at night. But after the event, it was hard to get back into the regular swing of things. And it wasn't until Monday that things were back to almost normal healthwise.
Needless to say, my weekend didn't go as planned. Mother's Day at home was very low keyed (except I did get two things from Amazon: A gardening bench/kneeler and a pair of shoes plus some beautiful flowers.) but I did hear from all my children and even a grandchild or two!
I have gotten something done, though. I had begun on Thursday afternoon to go through all my clothes...all of them. I wanted to see what fit, what didn't, what needed to be donated, what needed mending, what needed an iron touch-up and finish remaking a couple things I purchased at Goodwill. My bedroom/studio was a complete mess with clothes spread out all over.
I woke up and began working at 5am this morning and by 1pm, it was done. I have a large, really large, bag of things to go to Goodwill. And there are three things left in the mending box, but the rest is done. I found new t-shirts I had forgotten that I purchased last fall. And to my surprise, I fit into all my pants (Well, some were a bit snug, but I did get them on easily.).
Tomorrow I have a few errands to run plus an appointment in the morning after which, I hope to work in the garden and finish planting most of the seedlings. Just in time for the rain on Wednesday!
