Yesterday was a day of rain...all day long.  Every time it looked like things may clear up, here come more dark clouds and rain.  The one good thing is the rain, although constant, was light for the most part.

I had planned on working outside in the garden planting the last few seedlings but...guess what...it's still raining.  It may clear up for a couple hours (I'm not going to hold my breath on that though!) but then rain is forecast again.  

Have you every had the frustration of trying to make a medical appointment with an office that does not answer the phone but wants you to leave a message, but then they do not return your call.  I am at the point that I will go to the office to make an appointment.  There was a time when I thought about giving up and finding another doctor, but I have invested so much time and had all the tests at this office that I realized it would not be an advantage for me.  Oh well...guess I will stop in next time I am out.

I am still listening to Elizabeth George's Inspector Lynley Series.  Each book is between 10 and 14 hours but with what's going on politically, I have less time to listen to the audio books.  

So are you tuned into the political news?  You don't have to listen 24/7 but it really is important to at least keep up with what's going on.  That's the only way that you can make an informed vote next fall.  And this is going to be an important election, especially if you cherish democracy.

I was watching a YouTube video about regrowing fresh vegetables that you get from the grocery store.  Do any of you do this?  I am going to try it with some of the things I have in the fridge right now...onions, garlic, carrots and lettuce.  I'll let you know how it goes.
