High today is only 60 degrees which is more normal for fall. But to go from almost 80 degrees to 60 degrees in a couple days is a bit unsettling.
It is bright and sunny out and a bit breezy rather than windy. Great weather for Halloween which is next week. I think this is going to be the year that we get lots of ghosts and goblins! The area is quiet with little traffic. Guess I had better load up on some candy!
Today I want to get my real bed ready. I found the screws to put my daybed frame together so I may be sleeping on a real mattress by this evening...or at least tomorrow night!
The boxes I sorted through yesterday contained our kitchen appliances. After spending hours cleaning them, I realized that unless I wanted every one of them on the counter...which I did not...I needed to again reorganize the kitchen.
I did and everything fits rather nicely but it entailed moving all the food items to completely different cabinets. We now have one tall separate cabinet which I call the appliance garage as most all of the appliances fit.
Today I am going to work a couple more hours in Duchess, tossing out things, sorting and bringing in a few more boxes as well as lots of things to launder...mostly old blankets.
BUT I am going to stay true to my plan to work at least a couple hours on crafting something...anything...not sure what but I will be spending time relaxing in my studio.
So do you have any plans for the weekend? There are a ton of farmer's markets around here with fall vegetables and flowers out...especially pumpkins and apples. And some have their corn mazes open. Maybe it's time to take a trip to the country and enjoy the fall leaves and pick up some fall veggies. At any rate, have a great weekend.
Talk with you Monday...
