It's cool today...in the mid 50's...but we will be back in the 70's tomorrow with several more days of warm weather!
So, now that Halloween is over, the fast slide to Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays has begun. Of course, adding to that trying to get the house in order, sorting and cleaning and my fall and winter are pretty much full.
I have been crafting though. Remember the wallet journals I wrote about in the last post. They are four inches high and two and one half inches wide. Here's three that I folded...
And this is what it looks like inside...
So, here's the wallet with journal things tucked inside...
You can slip in things from the back and the front on both sides. In the back I included these two things...
The left is a pocket that holds pictures and the right is a notebook...
In the front pockets I added these...
The left was a fold out journal space and the right is a notebook...
On the inside, I added three different things on both sides. One in the pocket, one in the upper tuck and one in the lower tuck. On the left side I added two small flip ups with pictures and a saying plus a notebook...
On the right side I added a small notebook, a picture and fold-out that can be taken out of the booklet...
I used thick string to wrap around and hold everything in. This was lots of fun. I'm really surprised at how much the wallet holds and how sturdy it is. Another way to use these wallets is to make several, perhaps a bit larger and bind them in a journal. I may try that later.
Well, lots of errands to run today. I have a tire with a slow leak and need to attend to that right away. Then SnowWhite is full of donations to get take to Goodwill. And I need to pick up a few things from the store.
Tomorrow is voting day...make a plan to vote...and then vote.
