See the picture on the left?  Well, that's what we did yesterday.  The village is picking up leaves on Tuesday, so we raked and blew (Even with a heavy duty leaf blower, though, the lawn required mostly raking!) the bulk of leaves to the ditch next to the road.  And it was windy, so many of the leaf piles, ours (Yes we had piles four feet high and eight feet long!) and our neighbors, lost leaves to the road and other yards.  It was cool, but not cold.  And let me tell you, those large lightweight leaf pile rakes are much, much better than regular size rakes!

We also make a great pork roast with vegetables, rice and gravy meal.  I had picked up the roast on a drastic sale last week.

And, of course, the main highlight of the day was the Vikings winning their game.  The Lions also won, so the Vikings are number two in our division.  Not too bad.

I did manage to work on a two page spread in the small journal...

The Left side is for journaling with a prompt at the top and there is a tuck on the right side with another notebook...

The front of the notebook has one of the cluster I made out of tiny scraps.  A great way to use those scraps rather than throwing them out!

Today is a vacation day for many including my son, so we will work on the dining room area and maybe bring in some boxes for me to work on.  I am also going to get a small shelf out of Duchess which sounds easy, but it will require moving a multitude of items.  I want to use this shelf for dvds and cds as it will fit in the cabinet that will house those items.

Have an enjoyable day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
