I did get all of the shopping done for Thanksgiving Dinner including the Turkey. That trip took an hour!
Yesterday, I had enough time to start working on the books. I have over half the boxes open and sorted. Once I finish sorting the books, then I will be able to put them on the shelves in the living room.
I am also going to wash some afghans so we can have them available to snuggle in when it turns cold. They were stuffed into three large black plastic bags after the fire.
Tomorrow, along with making the pies and jello salad, I have to be available to the folks binging the wood for the wood burning stove in the living room. They will be dropping off the pile next to the iron stacked wood containers. So stacking the wood needs to be done right away because it's supposed to rain on Thanksgiving day. Once stacked, we have a special covers for the wood pieces to keep them dry.
I hope to be able to finish wrapping the presents and getting the boxes ready to mail on Friday. I only have three boxes to mail, but I only have one box of presents wrapped.
I normally pick up wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree Stores but around here, they haven't had any so I ordered some cheap, folded wrapping paper from Amazon. It's really good paper. Much thicker than normal wrapping paper. And the pieces were large enough to wrap my largest present!
