It's hard to believe, but Thanksgiving Day is almost upon us...tomorrow!  I hope all your plans are done and you're ready for the celebration.  For a lot of folks, this is their favorite holiday of the year.  I can understand because other than making the Thanksgiving meal, there are few other requirements for an enjoyable time.

I did get the books finished yesterday.  All the books in the downstairs living room are sorted and in place on the shelves.  The books that go upstairs are upstairs but not in place.  However, the upstairs is only somewhat organized.  But folks won't be up here anyway so no problem.

After working all day on getting things ready downstairs, I took a few minutes before going to bed to make some pockets for my journal.  Both are made out of a single square piece of paper, any size.  You can see both envelopes and multiple pockets of different sizes...

I can simple attach these to the pages in the journal with glue or double sided tape.  The envelopes when opened have three places to tuck in cards or notepads.

Well, today I will be making the pies (pumpkin and pecan) as well as a lime jello, cottage cheese, nut and mayo salad.  Sounds kind of unappetizing doesn't it?  Actually, it's really very refreshing!

The wood is scheduled to be delivered at 10am this morning.  I may run out to the grocery store for some last minute things but haven't decided about that yet.

I hope all of you have a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving enjoying a meal with or without friends and family, some football (if you like football) or maybe watch a movie, read a book or doing something you enjoy.  Please be safe and take care, especially if the weather is stormy.  I'll talk with you next Monday.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
