Remember that slide? Well, it's coming to an end very, very fast.
Yesterday I managed to get more decorating done. I took the small, old, artificial tree (former home owner left) that I set up in the living room upstairs to the large room. And then I brought in our tree to put up in the living room.
I added white lights and all the snowflakes that I crocheted to the small, older tree. I need to set up the other tree today as well as finish the decorating.
I ordered the rest of the gifts last night so that leaves only a few small things to pick up. Course, I do have to wrap them all, but that's on next week's to-do list.
Yesterday's snow was wet and stuck to the trees. Check out these pictures looking out the sliding window/doors to the back yard...
Most of the snow is gone and will be completely gone by the end of the weekend with temperatures rising all the way to the fifties!
I'm hoping to have a relaxing weekend. There are some bazaars hosted by local churches Saturday morning which will be fun to check out. There are some light displays to drive through. Some year, I would like to visit the Christmas Train Display at the New York Botanical Gardens again, but after Christmas when it's much less crowded.
Do you have any plans for the weekend? Be sure to take some time to do something you enjoy even if it's only to rest. This time of year can be very taxing so taking time to relax is important.
That's it for this week...talk with you on Monday...
