Holiday planning coming along okay? It's sneaking up on us very fast...less than ten days from today.
My weekend was nice. Football and more football. A bit of grocery shopping and some great food. Oysters to be exact...Adams Fairacre Farms has shucked oysters for sale and were they good!
It snowed last night...about half an inch but it will be gone by tomorrow. Again the temperatures are going up into the mid fifties.
Today I need to do some straightening around the house up, tackle a low cupboard in the kitchen that I have not touched...need the space for large things like canning equipment and large roaster...and finish wrapping the gifts. I also need to check the baking supplies so I can do a little baking later this week and early next week.
I finished rearranging my studio and I like the way it turned out. I still have to work on organizing the shelves but as there are still boxes in the storage unit, I can't really finish that until I find out what's out there!
I decided that I didn't need the additional table so that's a nice bonus. I will be using an old school desk (very sturdy) which I have had for years for additional working space.
I do have a zoom event at noon today for a couple hours. It will be enjoyable to talk with other crafters, seeing what they have been up to and sharing my latest adventures.
I did spend some time this past weekend thinking about next year and what I want to do with the blog. I was thinking that maybe I would do a one month focus on 'getting things together'. For instance, spending a few minutes each day on a small chore or idea.
Another focus I ran across is looking at goals or resolutions in a completely different way. One which I like and I think would be good not only for individuals, but perhaps could be advantageous for the wider community. More on those things later.
That's all for now...
Enjoy your day...relax and watch some holiday movies...
Talk with you tomorrow...
