No more snow or ice, but what's here is staying especially with the temperatures that we've got...high of 24 today.  But it is sunny out.  I don't think, though, that the sun is going to melt anything with the current temperatures!  At least there's no wind right now.  It feels brittle outside, like things could snap and break!

I did make a new cover for the journal...it's almost too big.  However, my thought is that I could make a removable writing pad out of heavy cardboard and covered with a smooth surface (something stiff to use to write on) to add to the journal.  And then make the signatures also removable to make writing in the notebooks easier.

I still have to add a closure to the journal.  Right now it's being held by a rubber band.  Check these out...

I'm about 95% sure that I will use the larger journal cover but I will need to figure out how to make the signatures easy to remove.  And I want to make a really secure closure.  Guess that's what I will be doing today.

Check out the new place to declutter...I'm not sure what I was thinking about but if it's too cold to do so, find another area in your home to choose one item to donate or discard.

So, we were considering our life's dreams...without them, our life may be less fulfilling, less satisfactory even less exciting with fewer possibilities.  Those dreams for what you want in life will change as you age.  A great career when you're younger, a happy family life as you approach middle age, a new career when you are even older and an empty nester.

I was wondering about those folks who are my advanced age...do they, can they still have dreams about what they want out of life.  The answer is a resounding yes, but how many do?  I'm sure everyone has met someone who just sits and waits...time must go very slow for them.

For others, leaving behind the drawbacks of youth and even middle age can free us older folks to do what we may have always wanted to do.  I love to craft, quilt and most of all write.  So I write a blog to share a bit of what I do as well as ideas for readers.  Writing and posting is the second major thing I do each day...right after exercise.  (Actually, I just want to get the exercise over with as fast as possible!!!). And, you have heard it here before...time flies by for me.  The second part to that is that I am enjoying life even in the midst of aches and pains and frustrations and concerns.  Life is still pretty good.

So, think about your life and what you want out of it.  It's not too late to explore the endless possibilities.  Those dreams can be large and they can be small.  The only thing they need to be is your's.

Have an amazing day...and stay warm.

Talk with you tomorrow...
