The chimney sweep is coming this morning. It will definitely be better weather for the work that the chimney sweep has to do. No snow at all on the roof!
So did you find a few minutes to find one item from books yesterday. You know, if you kept this up all year, you would get rid of over 300 items. That would be great for simplifying your home. At any rate, getting rid of 28 items is a good start.
And what about taking time to think about yourself beyond the obvious. Did you discover anything? The first time I took the time to think about myself (a long, long time ago) I was surprised that I had some very strong ideas about what was going on in the world. Surprised because I had never really took the time to consider those things. From then on, I paid attention to what was happening both locally and in the world.
Today, I suggest you consider your values. Which ones are important to you? Freedom? Honesty? Creativity? Kindness? Love? Responsibility? Others? All of them? None of them? Remember, there are no right or wrong answers, only your answer.
Yesterday, I finished a junk journal cover. I began with a flat piece of cardboard which I covered with fabric, cut raw edged and glued down using tacky glue. Once dried, I folded the cardboard into a long shape with an inch spine.
I then covered the fabric with one layer of tulle securing it with masking tape on the inside. I also added a piece of decorative card stock paper to the inside of the cover.
Finally, I added lace on the edges of the cover. Check out these photos...
Today, I hope to continue working on it but my main focus will be on the boxes remaining in the upstairs living room. After these boxes, there are only a few more that go upstairs plus the four for the kitchen. Getting to the end of the boxes.
Unfortunately, there is still furniture which we must deal with along with plastic tubs...not sure what's in them! Ah well, surprises are always nice.
Another place to choose an item from is listed on the sidebar.
Have an amazing day...hope the weather is great where you are...
Talk with you tomorrow...
