It felt really cold this morning...well below freezing and the high is only in the low to mid 40's and cloudy.  Don't think I will work outside today.  With two chats this afternoon, I really don't have the time.

Last night's supper was great.  I baked a pork loin and it turned out very moist and easily cut with a fork!  I used a simple recipe...cover with olive oil & seasonings.  Bake with fat cap on top, 10 minutes at 400 degrees, then lower to 350 and bake 20 minutes per pound.   We have enough for leftovers tonight both the pork and the sides which is always nice.

Yesterday I shared the journal cover using the hand stitched fabric piece.  Well, I added the signatures using elastic cord rather than stitching them in.  This way I can easily remove pages to work on, then replace.  I can even add pages.    I covered the elastic knots with some lace...

I added a closure to the journal...it's all ready to use.  And I have decided to make this an art journal and use it as an example for next month's challenge...

I purchased some fabric for my next collage (on sale at JoAnn's), mostly squares and fat quarters, to add to the small amount of fabric I already have...
I have decided on the collage I want to make...basically a water scene with fish about two feet square.  This time I am going to use some powdered adhesive (Bo-Nash-Fuse It Powder) to attach the raw edge cut pieces.  The adhesive is activated with heat.  I would like to eliminate using tulle for this collage.  To start, I am working on the design.  When I am happy with the results, I will share it with you.

Here's today's gratitude challenge picture...

That's it for today...I need to get my exercises done and straighten up my studio before hosting the chats...

Have an amazing day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
