Nope, this photo is not from now, it's from last year.  I still haven't see any dandelions in the yard.

So, it is still not very warm out...going to be in the mid 40's and cloudy all week!  Not exactly prime time for working in the yard, at least for me.  I like temperatures in the 50's.

I told you I decided which containers to order yesterday...but when I started the order, the shipping date was late April.  I hope to have everything ready for planting...including planting spring plants...by the time.  So it was back to the drawing board.  I did order a similar set of containers...they were sold as a pair.  If they work out, then I will order another set as the shipping time is only a couple days!  I ordered the landscape fabric also with u-shape pins to hold it down.  I need to pick up some hardware cloth next.  That will eliminate any moles from getting into the boxes.

Today I need to run several errands, make dinner and do some laundry.  I did get the few spring/Easter things up yesterday so the house is in good shape.

Remember the fabric collaged piece I made this past weekend...

Well, I made a journal cover out of it.  I cut a piece of cardboard to fit, covered the front with a low level loft batting before adding the fabric collage securing on the inside with tape.  I then cut a piece of fabric to cover the inside of the cover, glueing it down in the middle and sewing it to the collaged piece with an overcast stitch.  Finally, I added some lace on the inside.  Check out these photos...

I even made up five signatures to sew into the cover.  Each signature contains six sheets (24 pages), two envelopes and is covered with a piece of paper from grocery store brown bags which I cut apart and ironed...
Still not completely sure what I will use this for but am leaning towards making an art journal.

Here's another picture from my gratitude challenge...

Hmmmm...wonder which weighs more...some low level classified emails on a personal server or an invitation to a reporter to listen to government leaders discuss highly classified battle plans?

That's it for today...hope you have a great day...
Talk with you tomorrow?
