The cats woke me up at 3:57am! Their food bowl was empty!!! I was not a happy camper, let me tell you. But, I fed and watered them and took care of the litter...something I no longer do. However, my son, their primary caregiver, is still in the hospital so I'm in charge. They both actually slept with me most of the night. Unfortunately, I have a single bed so Tiger (who is very large) and Bear (who is much smaller) did not leave me much room!
On Saturday I took the time to make quite a few different journal ephemera from pleated paper stripes to envelopes to see through pockets to sequin filled hearts to...well...just check out the photo below...
I had a lot of fun making these.
For The 100 Day Project, I added the appliqued flower to the collaged background...
The only thing left is to bind the edges which I hope to get to today or tomorrow. I also watched three YouTube videos on fabric collage, one on paper collage and finally, I began reading a book on Fabric Collage. One of the books I got from Thrift Books at a fraction of the cost of a new one!
For the Gratitude Challenge, I did create two pictures. (Check out the sidebar for this challenge.) I was thankful for the time I had on Saturday and the doctors on Sunday. They look kind of pitiful but just wait, once there are 31 drawings or writings, the page will be quite full...
Dawn is providing a bit of light right now. It's suppose to be a bright and sunny day today which will be a relief from the cloudy skies this past weekend. And I hope with the warmer weather, the lawn will dry out. I have put off going to the storage trailer because there is a lot of mud...it's actually dangerous trying to walk in that slippery, deep stuff. Not to mention the mess it's making with the yard!
That's all for now. Did you see that there's a new word for the month? I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
