I added to my daily gratitude and this morning it was my morning cup of coffee. I love that first cup...usually my only cup! But I use a very, very large cup. The thing to think about is that your daily gratitudes do not need to be large and dramatic...they can be a cup of coffee (or tea), the snuggle of kitties, etc...
I haven't forgotten my 100 Day Project focusing on collage. I made a collage of book pages torn into small pieces with the edges highlighted. I like the results...
It's an interesting look...I think I would like to cover a small box like this and then add a clear acrylic finish...all I need is the box!
Remember the other challenge I took on...
Well, I did make an interesting pocket. It starts out with a closure (which I still need to add...
Open the top page to the right and this is what you have...I have not added any writing cards but the strip on the right side is actually a belly band where you can slip in a small notebook.
Open the page on the left and this is what you get...
Here you have the belly band, a pocket and a side tuck.Move the furthest right hand page to the left and this is what you will find...Three more pockets.
Close it back up and open the second page the the right and you get this...
The pocket on the left side is attached the a page in your journal. On the right side there are two pockets. So altogether you have nine pockets in this one journaling item. As I said I need to add journaling cards and/or notebooks, but the number of pockets is really nice.
I had never made anything like this and I learned about it from one of the hosts. There are other new to me pockets from this week which I will be using in my journals. There's no cost to joining this challenge. You can purchase the digital kit they are using but you do not need it. Just follow the hosts on the calendar for a ton of ideas.
That's all for today...need to finish my exercises...I've done 30 minutes on the stationary bike, now I need to do the core exercises and get in a walk...fifteen minute minimum! Have a great day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
