If that's the case, then it really is time to start setting up a garden area! And to take a long look at what's going on in the rest of the yard.
Seems the previous owner liked flowers but had no real plan. A flower here and a bush there and lots of weak solar lights.
Well, first of all, we need to pick up all the branches that are scattered around the yard. But, part of the yard is still quite muddy so we'll have to avoid that area. Unfortunately, that's where the storage unit is sitting and we need to finish unloading it. Hopefully things will dry out this week with the sun, warm temperatures and no rain nor snow.
We took a drive into the Catskills on Saturday. The mountains were really beautiful and there was still snow in the higher altitudes. We took the Mohican Trail and stopped at a lookout place where on a clear day you can see five states: New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and, of course, New York. We were able to see all of them!
I wanted to visit a fabric shop in Windham. It was really quite a packed quilt store. The amount of fabric was enormous but all I wound up purchasing were several $2 remnant roles...
Not my normal type of fabric but I wanted lots of large, loud patterned pieces to use in a collage for the 100 Day Project. I think these will do nicely. They will certainly contrast against one another.
I added to my gratitude challenge for all the days so far. I also decided to add a color rim around each day...
