The two containers are finished and in place on the yard with both hardware cloth (so no animals can burrow up from the ground) and landscape fabric in place. I have ordered two more containers the same size to finish out this portion of the garden.
I was all set to start filling them with debris from the yard but not today unless things warm up a bit. This is not a good day for folks with arthritis including me.
While out on an errand yesterday afternoon, I realized that the reason my sinuses were acting up was because all the trees, both blooming and non-blooming were ready to pop open. It looks like there will be some beautiful sights in the not to distant future.
Daffodils are still popping up around the yard and I believe some tulips are also slowly emerging. Still not sure what some of the bushes are going to be. The rose bushes, though, do not look good. The best thing to do is to wait and see what happens this summer before removing anything.
I made Jimmy Dean's Breakfast casserole last night for this morning's breakfast. It sure did taste good. Easter's coming up this weekend which means a bit of Greek cooking like spinach pies and kibbey and maybe some baklava. How about you? Any special meals this weekend?
Well, that's all for today. If the weather doesn't change, I may be able to do some crafting. I do need to make a run to Goodwill to empty SnowWhite...yes, she is full again. And I think tomorrow, if the weather is nice, a trip to the Catskills are scheduled.
Have a great day and enjoy the outdoors if you can...
Talk with you tomorrow...
