I did get both sides of the sidewalk cleaned yesterday, pulling weeds and cutting bushes down to a few inches.
I also made a great meal but only enough for last night's meal so I need to make dinner tonight. My plan is to make a beef stew, fresh salad and focaccia quick bread. That should prove to be an interesting undertaking. I have made bread before (but not for a long time) but I have never made focaccia.
It began raining during the night and it looks like the forecast is for constant light rain throughout today and tomorrow. Gloomy days. Guess that means no work outside.
I think I will do some more or less mindless work in the studio putting together another miniature. Remember this one which I finished a few weeks ago...
Today I am going to start on this one...
It looks like there is a lot of tiny paper flowers and plants to make first. I really want to work in the studio but my creative juices are just not flowing right now. I look at everything and just wonder 'where to start' but even more than that 'what to start on'.
Have you ever faced that phenomenon? Wanting to do something but not able to decide what to do? For me that's when I do something that doesn't require much thinking...like doodling or putting together a kit. I don't even try to work on current projects like the fabric scene that began with mountains, my presentation or one of my journals.
By the way, I have progressed on the presentation that I am putting together of my fabric creations. I now realize that it is more based on fabric art rather than small quilts although most of my creations are on the smaller size. The largest art being about 24 by 36 inches. I have made small quilts but I don't think I will include those in my presentation. Not sure yet.
Enough rambling...I hope your day is going the way you want. Be sure to find some time for yourself.
Talk with you tomorrow...
