There's hope that I will have a vehicle tomorrow. Turns out that the reason for the continued check engine light on was that one of the new spark plugs installed at the last visit was defective.
So, if we can pick up the car this evening, then I plan on going to Vermont tomorrow to see the 'Dear Jane Quilt' and the Grandma Moses paintings...my annual fall trip. And as I said yesterday, it's a very short trip up to Bennington, Vermont.
I've already done my exercises for the day - bike and core routines - straightened up the house and figured out what to make for supper tonight. That only leaves taking care of Cookie's things (i.e. litter box and vacuuming) and that means that I can spend the majority of my day in the studio.
Yesterday, after posting on my blog in the afternoon, I was still not feeling well so I went back to bed and slept until supper. I hadn't eaten so I did eat a bit and then right back to bed and slept straight through until this morning. Obviously I needed the rest because today I feel well rested and ready to go.
My plan is to work on fabric projects like the mountain scene as well as adding the binding to a couple small projects. Then I think I will work on the small blocks for the introduction to the 'Small is Beautiful' presentation. I will take photos to share with you tomorrow.
There's a new challenge posted and it's a helpful one for relationships. How many of us only listen to others partially? Either forming what you will say next in the conversation or thinking about what you are engaged in doing like making supper. Listening fully will help you actually 'hear' what the other person is saying/meaning. And that will make the person speaking feel valued and important to you which is a good thing.
Have an amazing day and do something important to you.
Talk with you tomorrow...
