Very early morning this morning...one of the cars was done so we took SnowWhite to the service center to pick up the car and my son drove on to work and I drove back home.  Once again I have transportation!  The service folks were certain that they tracked down the problem this time.  It had to do with a pressure switch registering too high psi.

It's bright and sunny out and the high is in the mid 60's with no rain so I might be able to tackle the rust spots on SnowWhite this afternoon.  But every time I think I can work on SnowWhite something intervenes...maybe this time I will be successful!

I also need to put up the fencing around a few bushes like the peonies to keep them from falling down.  And I can't believe how much the hosta plants have grown.  They are already over the sidewalk on one side so I really need to thin the plants on that side.  Well,  SnowWhite is first...I'm leaving for the west in less than two weeks!

Another quick scrap fabric craft I found on YouTube shorts was...well, I'm not sure how to describe it.  Basically a round picture frame???.  Well here are the steps.  By the way, this is the first time I have tried this so it didn't turn out great, but you'll get the idea.  First, I placed two pieces of fabric together, drew a circle on one and then sewed around the circle...

Next, I cut out the center of the circle and then clipped the edges...

I turned the top piece of fabric (gold piece) through the hole to make the finished edge circle.  (I should have ironed it at this time but I didn't.)...

Next, I added a piece to the back, wrong side towards the circle and secured with pins...

I then sewed around the edges and turned it through the circle.  Again, it should have been ironed at this point.  Finally I stitched around the edge to finish...

You can slip in a piece of fabric with a nice picture or even a picture.  Using fabric, you can make a mug rug.  Or, you can incorporate it into a wall hanging.

I hadn't used this idea on paper for junk journaling but I decided to make one to see if I like it...I do...

All I did was fold the card in half, cut out the circle and glued on some lace and beads around the edge of the circle and added some washi tape.  Not too bad an idea.

So what's happening with you right now?  Trying anything new?  Checking out YouTube creative channels?  I actually stumbled onto two channels that I enjoyed.  You may like them also so check them out.

The first is called 'Two Tall Stitchers' which features a mother & daughter team who do all sorts of textile things from quilt making to embroidery. You can find them here:  (https://www.youtube.com/@twotallstitchers).

The other is called 'Linen & Scraps' which features two very happy ladies who create with fabric scraps.  You can find their site here:  (https://www.youtube.com/@linenandscraps4821)

That's it for today...

Talk with you tomorrow...
