I can tell you one thing that's new...my computer died yesterday. It just went while setting up a zoom chat. That's why I didn't post yesterday. I'm able to post today because I got out my old computer (We are talking 2011 folks!). After charging it I found that it was still working albeit lots of quirks like the left shift key not working and taking forever to load apps. Thus I am able to post. No pictures, though, other than a very old one.
I had mentioned in my last post that something had happened to the hardware in my computer. I ordered an external hard drive to download everything which was supposed to have come in a lot sooner than Monday, but it's too late to save anything. Going to call today to see if any stores have any available laptops available. When I checked online last night, it looked like I would have to wait until the middle of July!
So far, with the exception of losing the computer, things are going well. I am enjoying my summer camp experience. Today is garden day so I will be spending some time in the greenhouse. Unfortunately, the tomato plants I put in the raised beds were topped off by deer. They didn't once bother the tomato plants last year...this year is another story. The plants are still alive and hopefully will recover, but unfortunately there were a lot of flowers on all of them that are now gone. I do have the tomato plants I put in pots on the deck if the ones in the raised gardens do not survive! And there are still lots of tomato plants at the nurseries around here.
I did string up the loom and have begun weaving. I'm a bit rusty when it comes to weaving so will need some more practice time to get really comfortable.
That's all for today...I hope all of you have wonderful plans for the weekend...even if it's only to rest and relax...be sure, though to add an unique experience, even a short one. Summer's here, folks, and as fast as it came, it will fade just as fast.
Talk with you on Monday...
