Okay, I lied!!!
I did not have any time to take pictures! Really!!
The Creative Connections Event was so crammed full of panels and speakers and workshops - even during the meals - that my head was spinning with all the information!! I'm not sure I would have been able to even focus the camera (and considering that mine has an auto-focus, that's saying something!!)
First of all, if you ever have an opportunity to attend a Creative Connections Event, take it...you will truly enjoy it.
With BlogHer Handmade, MaryJane Farm and all the craft workshop professionals...not to mention The Market Place...the Event represented a broad and packed schedule of classes, panels and speakers covering just about anything you might want to focus on.
I mainly focused on blogging, digital publishing and creative ventures. I'm so excited about everything that I learned that it is hard to focus on one thing at a time...but rather than scattering everything all over, I am going to focus first on a major redo with my blog.
Down the line, I want to create a free digital magazine focusing on crafts and craft trends, new resources as well as blogging tips...with a few recipes and maybe even a short story thrown in.
I also learned all about creating cyber classes - e-learning. I have always wanted to share some of my techniques so I will be creating some classes..
Can you tell that I am excited???
Well, stay tuned and watch what happens...maybe next year you will be inspired to attend the Creative Connections Event.
