A Visitor

I had a visitor yesterday between storms...this cute little bugger...
Of course, I'm not so sure he was happy about my being here.   I can just hear him ask...'Whose that person and what is that thing she's holding.   Oh no, a camera!!!

'I'll ignore her...maybe she'll go away...'

Still here, huh?'

'I know, I'll play dead...then she'll leave...'

 'Well, that didn't work..."

'I know...I'll give her my scary face!!!'

'No luck...well, if all else fails...I'm out of here...adios'

Thunder is rumbling in the distance...more storms.   My flowers and herbs are still going strong...

And I am dabbling more in my sketchbook...

It's getting darker out...speaking of which.   When I woke up at 7am this morning, it was as dark as it was when I went to bed at 2am last night.   Really!   Pitch Black!!!   I was planning on traveling to Charleston, but after consulting my weather app, I thought better of it...fog and storms.   So I went to Savannah instead.   I'll post pictures tomorrow.

But guess what...the great news is what I was doing at 2am last night...well, technically, this morning.  I sent off the last, the very last unit of that giant writing assignment.   It's done.   It's gone.   And I can now spend more time working on my blog and magazine...until the next assignment.

Thanks for visiting...

Hey to the folks at the embassy...

Rest this evening...
