A Little Trip To The Craft Store...

Weather-wise, it was much better today than yesterday.   The sun shone and melted a lot of the snow (Yes, it snowed late last night.) and ice but it was still rather cold.   But less snow and ice...I'll take it anyday.

So, I am going to try some steampunk art this week...I really have never done this before...it will be a learning adventure.   I looked through my stash of supplies and realized that I had very little to use for this type of creative venture.  

Can you guess?   Right, off to the store I went.   Fortunately, or unfortunately, there was a big sale of a lot of items which I knew I would need in the future.   So...

...I think I will be set for a long time for journaling and swapping.   Agree?

I also bought two Rainbow Looms plus extra rubber bands...one for each of my grandchildren out here. (Going to mail one to my other grandchild.)  Both children, one in kindergarten and one in sixth grade, picked it up right away.   Now we are off and running to find complicated designs.   Let's hope this grandma can keep up!!!

My computer has been having some problems, so today it was worked on for several hours...taking stuff off, putting on other things.   Tonight, I upgrade to the next OS.   Going to take several hours to complete with a major download.   Should be fun...
