It was so nice today that we went to the park with the grandkids late afternoon. There is a really great skateboard area there...
...makes me wish I was twenty years...no make that forty years...younger and a lot more steady on my feet. Think of the fun (broken bones?) I could have sailing around this park. Ah, the joys of youth!!!
I have been working on making small baskets, as you know. I tried making one with sugar and cream yarn and I found it very difficult to work with. Probably because I was crocheting a dense pattern plus the fact that this yarn has no give. I am not really happy with the results...
What do you think? I think I am going to try a regular yarn next and see if I like that better. Maybe in a dark brown. I'll keep you posted. Oh, and I am not using a pattern, just kind of playing around like I did with the Christmas Village.
